How it works
The calculator looks up the daily opening price of the coin on the date you choose and today's price, both from public market data. It then works out how many coins your money would have bought and what they are worth now.
Formula
Things to keep in mind
- If a coin was not trading yet on your date, the first available date is used and shown.
- Prices are in USDT, which tracks the US dollar closely.
- Fees, taxes and the stress of holding through big drops are not included.
Hindsight is easy
Looking back always makes the winning coins look obvious. For every coin that went up a lot, many others lost most of their value. Use this tool for fun and perspective, not as proof that the next pick will do the same. If you want to plan regular buys, the DCA calculator is a better tool.
