The three tabs
PnL shows profit, loss and ROE for a closed or planned trade. Target Price works the other way: you choose the ROE you want and it shows the price you need. Liquidation Price estimates where an isolated position would be closed by the exchange.
Target price formula
Example
You open a long at 60,000 with 20x leverage and want a 100% ROE. The price needs to move 100 / 20 = 5%, so the target is 63,000. For a short with the same settings, the target is 57,000.
USDT-M contracts
These calculators are for USDT-margined (linear) contracts, where margin and profit are in USDT. Coin-margined contracts settle in the coin itself and use a different formula. Results do not include fees or funding, see the fee and funding calculators for those.

Frequently asked questions
Does this match the calculator on the exchange?
The formulas are the standard ones for linear contracts. The exchange may show slightly different numbers because it includes fees and tiered maintenance margin.
Why is the target price closer at high leverage?
ROE is measured on margin. At higher leverage, a smaller price move gives the same ROE.
Can I use it for other exchanges?
Yes. Most exchanges use the same math for USDT-margined perpetual futures.
